Kathryn S. Freeman

Kathryn S. Freeman, age 89, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 at a local nursing home. She was born on September 13, 1935 in Texarkana, TX. Mrs Freeman was a member of South Texarkana Baptist Church and was a retired teacher.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years James William Freeman, brother, Luther Snell and sister, June Lindsey.

Survivors included four sons and daughters-in-law, Mark William And Denise Freeman of Concord, NC, Daniel James and Betty Freeman of Lakeland , FL, Nathaniel Truitt Freeman of Texarkana, AR and Paul David Freeman of Texarkana, AR; two brothers, Joel Lee Snell of Concord, CA and Donald Snell of Carson City, NV.

Funeral service will be 10 am Friday May 9, 2025 at South Texarkana Baptist Church, Texarkana, AR with Rev Oscar Rodriguez officiating under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown, Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Thursday May 8, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
