Linda Evans

She was born on April 6, 1945 in Denison, TX. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Evans, son Tony Evans and a great-granddaughter, Destiny Evans.

Mrs. Evans is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sharon Evans of Hughes Springs, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Trudy and David Benedict of Canton, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Bradford "Brad" and Pat Giddens of Mena, AR; sister Lydia "Dee" Gentry of Allen, TX;. 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be 2pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Jim Rust officiating.

Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to American Lung Assoc.
