Lola was born on June 16, 1935, to Fred and Narcissus (Narrie) Bruce in Saline County, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Bruce and Narrie (Wilson) Bruce, her husband, Gerald Eades, Sr., a daughter, Debra Hanson, and son, Mike Eades.
Lola is survived by a son, Gerald Eades, Jr. (Sue) and two daughters, Susan Wright (Jesse), and Jana Birkenstock (Mike). To the many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she leaves behind, she was fondly known as Granny.
Lola lived a life dedicated to the Lord and helping others find their way to Him. Whether it was serving as a pastor's wife, teaching a Sunday School class or singing in church, she was always willing to help out.
Lola loved to fish and she spent many hours in a boat with our daddy during their retirement years hoping to hook "the big one".
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at East Funeral Home (Downtown), Texarkana, Texas. Bro. Donnie Edwards, whom she mentored as a young pastor, will be officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Texarkana, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service.
