Louise Narens

Louise Narens, 83, of Texarkana, AR passed away August 17 2010 at a local hospital. Mrs. Narens was born August 12, 1927 in Texarkana, AR. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church where she was a member of the Alter Society.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Alexander Narens; a son, William Narens; and a daughter, Erin Narens.

Survivors include her husband, Alex Greene of Texarkana, TX; sons, Jude Narens of Texarkana, AR, Jim Narens of Texarkana, AR, Robert Narens of Hooks, TX, Joe Narens of Texarkana, AR and Pete Narens of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Mary Rose Sutton of Genoa, AR and Grace Marie Sweet of Texarkana, AR; sister, Catherine Williams of Texarkana, AR; 29 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited 7 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with visitation to follow. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 am Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Walz and Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
