Survivors include his four sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne and Glenda Schaeffer of Texarkana, AR; Steve and Frances Schaeffer of Granbury, TX; Ricky and Sherri Schaeffer of Fort Worth, TX; Keith and Laurie Schaeffer of Granbury, TX; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown. Burial will immediately follow in Sylverino Cemetary next to his bride of 62 years, Florence M. Schaeffer, who preceded him in death in 2011.
Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
