Mary Ruth Gray

Mary Ruth Spikes Gray, also known as Momma Gray, 91, died September 24, 2012. Mrs. Gray was born October 6, 1920, in Grannis, AR. She worked for Offenhauser and retired from Southwest Ark. Electric Coop. and was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Gray.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Annette Gray of Halley, AR and Pete and Mary Gray of Fouke, AR; two daughters and son-in-law, Wanda Gray and Mary Ann and Jim Colbert of Texarkana, AR; adopted daughter, LaVerne Blackwell of Wake Village, TX; three grandchildren, Angie Gossman and husband, David of Monticello, AR, Clark Colbert and wife Melissa of Beebe, AR and Corey Colbert and wife, Somer of Springdale, AR; two step grandchildren, James Waltz and Angie Russell; one brother, Paul Spikes of Shreveport, LA; eight great grandchildren, Carah, Trey, Timothy, Thomas, Gray and Gage Colbert and Mackenzie and Conner Gossman.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Clark Colbert officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the funeral home.
