Mattie Joe Hall, born on July 9, 1925 to Joe and Mattie Rumbo Collom, passed away, January 28, 2021 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Hall and son, Melvin W. Hall; and four brothers, H. R. Collom, W. L. Collom, G. R. Collom, and O'neal Collom; Also two sisters, Eva Joe Curtis and Frankie Saunders.
Mattie Joe was a Life Member of The Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers. She was a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church.
Survivors are a special niece, Carol Stoner and her husband Howard; her very special daughter-in-law Angela Hall of Benton, AR; three nieces, Kathy Palmer and Connie Hunter of Shreveport, LA and Gay Rowe of Arizona; nephews, Jim Collom and Bill Collom of Atlanta, TX, Mike Collom of Fairway, TX, Ricky Collom of Bossier City, LA, Neal Collom, Jr. of Tyler, TX and Thad Collom Curtis.
Private burial will be held in Eylau Cemetery.
