Patricia Ann Johnson

Pat was a 1961 graduate of Texas High school. She was especially proud of her service in the U.S. Air Force, her 20 years working at Luby’s Cafeteria, and being a third generation member of Central Christian Church.

Pat lived a challenging life with cheer and elegance. Her life was greatly enriched by the many friends from her lifetime in Texarkana. Her family wishes to express their thanks to the many friends and fellow church members, past and present, that brought happiness into her life with their acts of kindness toward her.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, H. L. “Frisky” Johnson and her mother, Irma Johnson. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Mike and Cathy Johnson of Dallas, TX, her sister and brother-in-law Mary and Ricky Sweek of Lavon, TX, her two nieces Amy Witherspoon and Kim Harryman, her two nephews Lonnie Johnson and Willie Johnson, and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown with Rev. Wes Byas officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
