Paul Fisher

Paul Spencer Fisher, 85, of Hooks, TX passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016.He was born on February 14, 1931 in Southbend, IN. Mr. Fisher was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving 21 years as a jet mechanic and ejection seat specialist. Serving in Vietnam, Loas, Cambodia he was exposed to agent orange causing lung disease. He obtained his private pilot’s license and was a graduate of John Wesley Collage in Owosso, MI. Paul was an elder for life at Tyrone Covenant Church and is a deacon and current member at Everett Baptist Church. He elected to have full body donor to Genesis in Tenn.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Alice Ann Fisher and son Pastor Paul Robert Fisher.

He is survived by Lynn Fisher his wife of 65 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Pastor David and Juanita Fisher of Atlanta, MI and John and Wendy Fisher of Hooks, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Merri and Mike Graham of Fenton, MI; foster son and his wife, John and Grace Minor of San Antonio, TX;14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11am Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Everett Baptist Church, Hooks, TX with Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
