Raymond Lee Johnston sr.

Raymond Lee Johnston, Sr. 80 of Doddridge, AR. passed away at his home on December 26, 2016. He was born January 28, 1936 in Fouke, AR. Raymond was a security guard at the Four States Fair Grounds for many years. He was a Miller County volunteer fire fighter and attended the Methodist Church. Was also an Air Force veteran where he was a military policeman.

Preceded in death by a son Randy Johnston and three brothers Ray Johnston, Gene Johnston and Kurt Johnson and one sister Lucille Clayton.

Survived by his wife Joyce Johnston of Doddridge, AR; four sons David Westmoreland., Raymond Johnston, JR., and James Johnston all of Doddridge, AR., Johnny Johnston of Longview, TX; four daughters Linda Solida of Pleasant Plains, AR., Roxie Reneau of Texarkana, AR., Annette Todd of Hot Springs, AR. and Tilda Royal of Concord, CA.; three brothers Orbie Johnston of Texarkana, Ar., Dave Johnston of Doddridge, AR. and John Dale Johnston of Camp Lejeune, NC; four sisters Faye McClain of Texarkana, AR., Syble Clark of Fouke, AR., Thelma Johnston of Texarkana, AR., and Judy McKinney of Fouke, AR.; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren plus 4 great-great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 30, 2016 at Rocky Mound Cemetery officiated by Rev. Walter Burnett.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
