Raymond F. Powell

Raymond F. Powell, 86 of Texarkana, TX passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his home. He was born on September 12, 1929 in Texarkana, AR .Mr. Powell was a member of St Edwards Catholic Church, member of Knights of Columbus and was retired from Dickey Clay and Red River Army Depot.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eathel Platz McNeeley. son, David Powell and grandson, Casey Nowlin.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Powell of Texarkana, TX,; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Bob Linck of Shreveport, LA and Deborah and Steve Cue of Lewisville, TX; two sons and daughter-in law, Kenneth and Lynne Nowlin of Texarkana, TX and Jeffrey David Nowlin of Texarkana, TX; daughter-in-law, Debbie Powell of Texarkana, TX; sister, Barbara Brown of Texarkana, AR; 10 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Deacon David Fowler officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
