Richard E. Pierce

Mr. Pierce was born June 25th, 1945 in Lansing, MI. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, a member of Red Lick First Baptist Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Pierce in 2013.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Dennis Plaskett of Allendale, MI, a daughter and son-in-law Darlene and Thomas Price of Hooks, TX. Grandchildren, Maygen Hartwick and husband John of New Boston, TX, Jordan Price and wife Elizabeth of Hooks, TX, Tiffany Price of Texarkana, TX, Haley Price of Hooks, TX and Mason Price of Hooks, TX.;special friends and caregivers, Cindy and Randy Dotson of Texarkana, TX. He has 3 granddaughters and 2 great grandsons, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Redlick First Baptist Church. Brother Paul Shelton will be officiating. Mr. Pierce has been donated to medical science under the Genesis program, arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
