Ronnie Ward

Ronnie G. Ward, 63, of Doddridge, AR passed away August 6, 2011 in a local hospital. Mr. Ward was born June 11, 1948 in Texarkana, AR. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and retired from Texarkana Water Utilities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Fay Ward; and a sister, Norma Sims.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Ward, of Doddridge, AR; son, Tony Ward of Texarkana, AR; daughter, Tammie Ward of Doddridge, AR; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert Ward of Texarkana, AR, James and Joyce Ward of Little Rock, AR, and Richard and Ruby Ward of Texarkana, AR; grandsons, Aaron Ward, Brayden Ward and Devon Jones all of Doddridge. AR; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Carl Hopkins and Linda and David Carpenter all of Texarkana, TX, Shirley and Ralph Crittenden of Lindsey, OK, David and Karen Hudgins of Texarkana, AR, Lydia and Gary Finch of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Glen Hammet of Ft. Worth, TX; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Deacon David Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the funeral Home.
