Ms. Barkman was born January 13th, 1927 in Hooks, Texas and was a member of Hampton Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Eula Barkman, a sister-in-law; Helen Barkman and nephew Howard Davis Barkman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother Henry Barkman and nephew and his wife Chip and Michelle Barkman and great nephew John Jacob Barkman II.
The family would like to extend a gratitude of thanks to Heritage Hospice and Reunion Plaza for their exceptional care during this time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dorcas House at Hampton Church of Christ.
Come and go viewing will be held for Ms. Barkman on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane and also on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane for those that would like to come by to pay their respects.
