William Bernard Morris

Bill lived a full and adventurous life. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict and was a proud United States veteran. He lived most of his life in Wisconsin, until he and his wife Diane traveled the country for a time, then settled in the Texarkana area.

William Morris was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Diane Marie Morris also of Texarkana, Texas; his parents William E. and Marcella Morris and one brother Joe Morris.

He is survived by two daughters: Michelle (Darrin) Putz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Crystal (Patrick) Wakker of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren: Violet Putz, Bradley Denton, Adam Putz, Gavin Denton, Ava Putz, Mariah Wakker, and Aaron Putz; six sisters Marcia Clendening, Pam (Ray) Henry, Sandy Radtke, Cindy (Eric) Norman, Debby (Al) Cox, Angel (Ronnie) Watts, one brother Ernie Morris, two step-sons Glenn Boser of Portage Wisconsin and Gary Boser of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

In the later years of his life Bill became quite spiritual and was happy visiting and sharing his experiences and the Word of God with family and friends.

He will truly be missed and remembered by many.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
