

Anita was born in Houston, Texas on March 29, 1944 to parents Elias and Felipa Carrizal. She was one of seven children in the family.
On January 17, 1960, Anita married the love of her life, Jesus Robert Coy. The couple grew to a family of five with the addition of their three children Sally, Cynthia and Robert.
Anita had a successful career as an Early Childcare Teacher at Interfaith Child Development Center in The Woodlands, Texas. She loved working with the Children as much as they loved her.
Anita enjoyed Mass at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Parish and was very involved in the Holy Name Society group from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Houston, Texas. She also volunteered for the community of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was passionate about shopping and could often be found at her favorite stores looking for the perfect outfit.
Anita is survived by her children Sally (husband Ruben) Carranza, Cynthia (husband Santos) Alejandro, and son Robert Coy. She is also survived by her brother Raymond (wife Ginny) Carrizal, her sisters Amelia (husband Johnny) Adame and Stella (husband David) Carver, and her brother-in-law Henry (wife Stella) Coy. She leaves behind her grandchildren Jacob (wife Marcella) Romero, Stephanie (husband Joe, Jr.) Monsebaiz, Joseph Romero, Jayme Alejandro, and Rebecca (husband Greg) Martinez; her great grandchildren Dominic, Brianna, Jalyn, Jacob, Jr., Joe II (wife Stephanie) Matthew, Makayla, Bella, and Solani; and her great-great grandson Joe Monsebaiz, III. She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her roommate Nicole Estrada and her loving companion, her dog Honeybee.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Robert Coy, her parents Elias and Felipa Carrizal, and her brothers Elias Carrizal, Jr., Robert Carrizal and Jesus Carrizal.
Anita was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
A Visitation/Rosary will take place at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5 pm - 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 8715 Kuykendahl Road, The Woodlands, Texas. A Burial Service will follow at 1:00 pm also at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery.
