Mrs. Anita Sue Hunter passed away Friday morning, June 24, 2022 at her Conroe residence with her loving husband by her side. She was born January 27, 1952 in Nederahmstadt, Germany. Her parents were Clarence and Mildred (Mathis) Archer. She was 70 years of age.
"Anita was a kind loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was my best friend for 43 years. We did everything together and were seldom apart. She was known by all as Oma ( German for grandma) and everyone loved her. She is sorely missed by all. Oma didn’t want a funeral with all the sadness, she wanted a celebration of her life with laughter and song."
She is survived by husband, Philip Hunter; daughter, Jennifer Corekin and husband Brad; grandsons, Blane, Brandon, Brett; sister, Christie Mutz in Germany; and numerous other extended family and dear friends.
