Bessie Bess Katherine Thomas

Bessie Katherine Thomas, also known as "Bess", age 79, resided in Spring, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015. She was born in Jane, Missouri on May 24, 1936. She graduated from White Rock High School and went on to work for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Oklahoma which is where she met her husband, Robert M. Thomas, also known as "Bob". They married on June 19, 1959. He was in the Air Force at the time and once he left, they moved to Pensacola, Florida to settle and start a family. The three major things Bess had a passion for was art and crafts, bowling and helping people. She was involved in school functions, treasurer for the high school band, to being a co-director for the Alvin Food Pantry. She was a bowler since the 1960's off and on and she bowled the last Sunday before she passed. She loved God so much, her love flowed out to help other people. She was survived by her husband Bob Thomas, daughter Katherine Thomas, son Robert (Robbie) M. Thomas, II and two grand furry babies, Miss Muffit and Maggie Mae. She was survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nonie Michaels and David Michaels. There are nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews in several states. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am December 26, 2015 at Forest Park Funeral Home Chapel in The Woodlands.
