Blake Melvin Harra, 22, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2025. Born on April 8, 2003, his time with us ended far too soon. The years we were blessed to share with him were filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Blake grew up surrounded by a family who loved him deeply and supported his every dream. He graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2021 and subsequently attended Texas State University. Although he did not complete his degree, Blake faithfully came home every weekend, showing the deep bond he shared with his family and the comfort he found in being close to them. Always hardworking and determined, Blake poured his energy into his job at Shiners Car Wash, where he worked side by side with his best friends. But Blake’s ambition didn’t stop there as he was also building his own company, Grid Epoxy, a venture that reflected his dedication, and drive to create something lasting. Blake’s passions revealed the many sides of his vibrant spirit. He loved the thrill of motorcycles, the fun and excitement of video games, football, paintball, and the quiet walks with his mother Lisa and dog Diesel. Whether he was sharing an adrenaline rush or a peaceful conversation, Blake brought warmth and light to those around him.
Blake is survived by his mother Lisa Harra (Dragos Tapu), father Sterling Harra (Laura), sisters Cassie Stewart (Zack), Sydney Harra, Grace Williams (Gordon), brothers Grant Harra, Bradley Hill. Blake’s extended family includes his grandparents Brad and Jane Fuller and Dave Harra; stepsiblings Alec Tapu, Nico Tapu, and Jack Topper; aunts and uncles Amy Ewing (Richey), Michael Fuller (Kelly), Mark Travis (Cheri), Scott Harra; nephew Weston; many beloved cousins; and his beloved girlfriend Kennedy Smith, who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts. Blake is preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him with open arms: Mary Frances Parr, Loyett Parr, Henley Fuller, Leny Fuller, Kitty Harra, and Spencer Mitas. And though we grieve his absence here, we take comfort in knowing he is embraced by those who went before him.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384 on Thursday September 25, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Blake’s life at The Woodlands Methodist Church – The Robb Chapel, Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00AM.
