 I wish you were here you could help me with a lot. You will always be in my mind. <3

Brandon.  So many memories... one thing for sure I've never eaten a PB&J without saying to myself "a little bit of peanut butter and a Whooole Lotta Jelly." That kind of got stuck in my head and I have to say it whenever I have one... .... thanks a lot Burj.  There are lots of Brandonisms, come to think of it.  

I feel so lucky I got to spend some time with you this past year.  You'll always be dear to the Baileys and we already miss you very much.  Be in Peace my friend.  I'll see you at the big Crocker's Restaurant in the sky.

you were the best coach ever! you were helpful and a good mentor! we all miss you! you were my favorite coach! i had fun being in your class. we will all lovee you coach you will be in our hearts. knowing you passed away when i was in peru was sad i cryed and cryed as i still am now coach! you were great fun and respectful. i pray for you everyday and everynight as your family might to. coach your family will lovee you no matter what if i could i woul go to the cementary but i cant coach i still cant believe this. i love you coach you were everything!i will pray for you and lovee you forever!

our thoughts and prayers are with the Burja family during this difficult time. We want you to know what a wonderful person Brandon was. We are long time friends of the family. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. B almost 9 years ago on Guam. Kaelani and my daughter Kiyoni was born the same year. He was a devoted father and so kind to all he met. I was so shocked when I heard the news. Even now I can't believe it. He was just here this summer, helping his daughter move back to the states...we had "fun" doing the yard sale, it was a lot of hard work but...he bought the kids ice pops and drink mix....my heart goes out to Kaelani and his whole family. My family and I will miss him dearly!

You will be missed Brandon! I loved playing football with you at Cabrillo. You were really tough but soft spoken. God bless you and your family. I hope there are some D-Linemen up there for you to crack block.

There are so many wonderful memories from SLV, San Diego and Las Vegas. Although I haven't talked with Brandon in years...if we were to cross paths tomorrow, I know he would be as friendly and warm-hearted toward me as if we were neighbors. That's just Brandon. You'll be missed. My condolences and warm wishes to Brandon's family.

Brandon, you were my brutha from anotha mutha.  Loved everything about you and you will be missed by all the socal-coaching crew.  My heart pours out to the family and I know you are finally resting in peace.

I'll always remember Brandon as a fun-loving teacher at Marston Middle School. My condolences to his family.

Brandon I can see you with your little baseball cap on and the sweetest smile I've ever seen. You are always in my heart. My love and prayers go out to your mom, dad, daughter, sister, brother and families..I know Gods angels are with you and God will watch over you.

Brandon I will miss you but will remember all the fun times, the summers you spent with us in Idaho were the most entertaining times of our lives.

Brandon Burja was the most amazing person.  He embodied the spirit of a "true teacher."  He loved each child he taught as his own.  He took that extra minute to do the things that mattered most.  He walked an amazing walk and will be so missed.  I am so greatful that my child and I had him in our lives.  He was a true blessing to all of the lives he touched.

Brandon was family to me. He was an awesome person with a heart of gold and a smile that illuminated a room.I feel privileged to have known him. He will be dearly missed by my family and I. My condolences to the Burja Family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as we grieve his loss and celebrate his life.

Brandon was my sons favorite PE coach and was hoping to have him again this year.I have only talked to Brandon a few times but I volunteer up at the school alot and could just tell what a great coach he was.  The kids just loved him. He seemed like a great guy and Benignus has lost a wonderful coach, teacher, mentor, and a friend. We will definitely miss him. The family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Coach Burja was a wonderful coach and mentor to the children at Roth Elementary and Benignus Elementary in Spring, Texas.  Even the kids who weren't fortunate enough to have him as their coach still flocked to him.  To see him with his fellow coaches was to see a team in harmony.  To watch him with the children was to know unconditional acceptance and love of all children.
He coached my son 4 years ago and would still ask me about him when we had the chance to speak.  My daughter was to have been in his class this year and she is feeling the loss greatly.  
We will not forget Coach Burja or his love for our kids.  When you send them to school it can be a bit frightening to know they are out of your reach.  With people like Brandon Burja there, letting them go was so much easier.  We miss you Coach and are so thankful for the time you were with us.
