Carlos was born in Baltimore Maryland on August 20, 1954 to Carlos and Lydia Landa.
Carlos graduated from North Dallas High School, attended North Texas University and received a Masters in Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University. He was married to Rosie S. Landa on July 19, 1985.
He had a career as an Art Professor/founding faculty for Lone Star Montgomery College. Carlos served in many ministries at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, ACTS Brother, Marriage Preparation, RCIA, Habitat For Humanity, Special Needs: Lifeteen youth, Bible Study, Confirmation, Food Pantry, and Greeter.
Carlos had passion and love for his family, teaching art, and living his faith.
Carlos was preceeded in death by his parents; Carlos and Lydia Landa.
He is survived by his loving wife; Rosie Landa, children; Adam Martinez, Richard Carlos Landa, Christopher Alexander Landa, granddaughter; Lydia Rose Landa, siblings; Richard Landa, Adrian R. Landa, Louis A. Landa, Lydia M. Wheatley along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral mass for Carlos will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr. The Woodlands, TX 77382.
Rosary prayer for Carlos will begin at 10:30AM with funeral mass at 11:00AM followed by a reception at the church.
