

Clarke was born on October 21, 1954, to Charles and Irene Stewart, in Houston, Texas. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football and lettered as a freshman at Lutheran South High School. Clarke later transferred to Aldine High School from where he graduated in 1972.
Clarke had a love for many trades as a young adult. He learned his love and passion of carpentry from his step-grandpa Danny and his father Charlie. He was a Machinist and an extraordinary cabinet maker.
Clarke enjoyed cheering on his son, Mark, at all of his sports events. He loved deer hunting, bonfires, cooking anything outside on a barbecue pit, and classic rock music!
Clarke was married to his wife, Karen, on July 1, 2002. Their 19 years of marriage were full of fun filled memories with their children and grandchildren.
After 33 years of service, Clarke retired from the United States Postal Service.
Clarke is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Irene Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Karen, son Mark (Katie) Stewart, his beloved bonus children, Michael Holditch (Theresa Horn), James Holditch, Jane (Wayne) Benson, and Amy Holditch. His precious grandchildren Mason and Madelyn Stewart and his beloved bonus grandchildren Hope Holditch, Jake Holditch, Sierra Hearen, and Ryan Forrester, his loving sister Melodee (Mike) Arrendell, and his foster brother Briggs(Janet)Myrick.
There will be a memorial/celebration of life on Sunday, December 12th at 2 pm at First Baptist Church of Tomball.
