

Connie Sigsby, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on September 5, 1942, in Bismark, North Dakota and grew up in McClusky.
Connie followed her passion for health and nutrition, earning her degree from the University of North Dakota. She completed a dietetic internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and went on to work as a dietitian at Midland Memorial Hospital. Later in her career, she transitioned into data processing, working at DGSI in The Woodlands, Texas.
Connie was a charter member and former president of The Woodlands P.E.O. Chapter HD, embodying their commitment to women's education. Her generous spirit extended to her volunteer work at the local library through Friends of the Library and at the Community Health Center.
Connie found deep joy in life’s simple pleasures and meaningful connections. She loved cooking and hosting dinners, filling her home with warmth, laughter and unforgettable memories shared around the table. Her adventurous spirit took her on travels with her husband of 48 years, Bob, as well as with friends and family—exploring new places and building lasting bonds. Connie valued her friendships deeply, cherishing lunches with friends, spirited games of Canasta and thoughtful conversations with her book club. Above all, she adored spending time with her grandchildren, Addie and Philip, who brought endless light and joy to her life. A woman of faith, Connie was a devoted member of Christ Church Methodist.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Sigsby; her brother, Dewey; her son, Bret; her sister-in-law, Linda; and several cherished friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole, son-in-law, David, and her grandchildren, Addie and Philip. Nieces include Linda Harris, Margaret Schneider, Jennifer Baum and Suzannah Sigsby.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held in September. Details will be shared with family and friends.
