

Cynthia (Cindy) Taylor Ohlms, 62, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born on March 14, 1961, in Monroe, Louisiana to Dr. John M. Taylor, Jr. and Mrs. Billie M. Taylor.
After moving to New Orleans for a few years, Cindy and her parents headed west to Lubbock, Texas. She enjoyed her childhood years in Lubbock, especially with friends and spending time with family at the ranch in King County. Cindy finished her formal education in 1983 obtaining a Bachelor in Liberal Arts from Lubbock Christian University.
Cindy met her husband, Jim Ohlms, in Lubbock, Texas, dating for two years before they were married on February 15, 1986. They spent nine wonderful years in Lubbock and Midland, Texas welcoming two daughters, Stephanie and Lindsey, to the family. Cindy and Jim moved to The Woodlands, Texas in 1995 where they raised their beautiful daughters and made many new friends.
Cindy was a member of the Pilgrimage Garden Club of Natchez and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed traveling, genealogy research, and spending special moments with family, her pet cats, dog, and grand-dogs.
Cindy was genuinely pleasant, gracious, and kind to the people in her life. She is survived by her loving husband of over 37 years, Jim of The Woodlands, Texas and her two daughters, Stephanie Ohlms of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and Lindsey Ohlms of Houston, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Michael Taylor. Cindy will be truly missed by her friends and family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park of the Woodlands, with the funeral service to immediately follow.
