

David Wayne Hudson, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend passed away on January 3, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Born on June 29, 1970 to his devoted parents, Barbara and Alan Hudson, David grew up in the embrace of a loving family. His childhood was enriched by the presence of his sisters, Lisa Woodson and Kelley Hudson Seewald, and his brother, Scott Hudson. Together, they formed bonds that would stand the test of time.
In 1993, David embarked on a journey of love and commitment when he married the love of his life, Shawn Merrill Hudson. Together, they built a foundation of love. Their union was blessed with the joy, laughter and mutual love of two beautiful daughters, Kennedy Nicole Hudson and Kassedy Noelle Hudson.
David was a family man, and the bonds of family held a special place in David's heart, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.
He carried forward the values instilled by his parents and shared them with his own growing family. His unwavering love and dedication were evident in every gesture.
David's sisters, Lisa Woodson and Kelley Seewald, and his brother, Scott Hudson, were not just siblings but lifelong companions who shared life's joys and challenges.
In the kitchen, David's culinary skills were legendary. He had a love for cooking that went beyond the simple act of preparing meals; it was a way to express his creativity and share his love with others. His family and friends, including Lisa, Kelley, Scott, and his parents, were treated to delicious feasts, and the memories of shared meals will forever be cherished.
Cars held a special place in David's heart. He appreciated their design, power, and the freedom they represented. Whether tinkering in the garage or going on scenic drives, his love for cars was a reflection of his adventurous spirit.
David's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. David is predeceased by his Sister, Kelley Hudson Seewald. He is survived by his loving wife, Shawn Merrill Hudson; daughters, Kennedy Nicole Hudson and Kassedy Noelle Hudson; sister, Lisa Woodson; brother, Scott Hudson; and his parents, Barbara and Alan Hudson.
David's legacy of love, kindness, and passion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life. May David rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories he created during his time on this Earth.
A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Forest Park The Woodlands Home & Cemetery.
