Deborah JoAnn Loyd

Deborah “Debbie” JoAnn Loyd a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at the age of 75. She was born on March 23, 1950 in Nederland, TX and lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and devotion to her family.

Debbie was the heart of her home. She had a warm smile, a generous spirit, and a way of making everyone feel cared for…typically demonstrated by a hot cooked meal or southern hospitality. Though she worked various jobs throughout her life, her main love and focus was her family.

She was married to Talbert Loyd Jr. for 56 incredible years. She is survived by her two loving children, Shannon Bearman and Tab Loyd; three cherished grandchildren, Taylor Woyton, Brayden Loyd, and Abbie Loyd; and two treasured great-grandchildren Baker and Adeline, who brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind additional relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

Debbie will be remembered for her compassion, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave her friends and family. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Though we are grieving as family and friends, we remember Paul’s account:

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday 1/8/2026 at 10am (9am visitation) at Oak Ridge Baptist Church 500 East Oak Hill, Spring, TX 77386.
