Diana Mercedes Gonzalez

Diana was born in Bogota, Colombia on August 28, 1967. She graduated the from the College of Engineering at the Universidad de America with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. She continued her education at Waldon University where she received a master's degree in Education. She enjoyed a long and successful 17 year career in Education at Smith Elementary.

Diana married Yohnny Gonzalez on August 15, 1992. Sharing a love that spanned over three decades, Diana and Yohnny were married for 33 years. Diana was a devoted and caring mother to her daughters Catalina and Natalia, and in her later years cherished her time spent with grandson Alexander.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother Dora and her sister Andrea. She is survived by her husband Yohnny, her children Catalina and Natalia, grandson Alexander, and brother Jaime Alberto.

Diana will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she gave so freely and the light she brought to those around her.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 8715 Kuykendahl Road, The Woodlands, Texas 77382 to be followed by a Reception from 1 pm - 3 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, R. L. Wood Event Room, 18000 I 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
