Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jan Appleby; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Charles Wood; son, Dale Appleby; grandchildren, Heather (Tim), Cody (Bianca), Emily (Jake), Ryan, Cade, and Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Claire, Weston, Colton, Jagger, Layla, and Hayes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Troy, Bob, and Marshall; and sister, Winnie. Don's greatest joy was his family. His legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength will live on in those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the deep pride he took in his family.
A private service to honor his life will be held at a later date.
