

Faye Marie Beeson, age 94, of Conroe, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Faye was born on March 27, 1929 in Onalaska, Texas to loving parents William Lester and Hazel Pogue and was one of seven children.
Faye met and married the love of her life, James L. Beeson, and the happy couple welcomed five children to their family. Jim and Faye's especially enjoyed traveling together during their marriage.
Faye was always a busy and energetic person. In addition to raising five children, Faye worked at Texas Commerce Bank. She also loved bowling and enjoyed playing on a league. She was such a fan of women's fastpitch softball that she joined a women's softball league in her 50's becoming the team's pitcher. Faye always had a good time gambling in Las Vegas, Louisiana and Mississippi especially when accompanied by her daughter Karen.
Family was extremely important to Faye, and she relished being with her loved ones. During the month of March, the family celebrated many birthdays, and Faye delighted in celebrating her March birthday along with her daughter Karen, and granddaughters Tracey and Stacey. Every July Faye vacationed with her daughters, grandchildren and many friends to join in a Celebration of Life for her granddaughter Ashley Dawn Doring.
Faye attended church services in The Woodlands, Texas.
Faye was preceded in death by her spouse James L. Beeson; her father and mother William Lester (Hazel Pogue); sister Barbara Golden; brothers Louis Pogue; Jackie Pogue; Ted Pogue, Bobby Pogue; her granddaughter Ashley Doring, her great-granddaughter Chelsey, and her great-granddaughter Morgan.
Faye is survived by her sister Betty Gray; children Cheryl (Mark) Watts of Tomball,Texas, Kathy (Steve) Lumpkin of Cypress,Texas, Karen Carlson of Deer Park, Texas, John Carlson of Katy, Texas, Daryl Beeson of Palestine, Texas, Alan Beeson of Conroe, Texas; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren and three on the way soon.
A memorial service for Faye will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
