90's trip to NYC with Gary - he was my best friend for many years while living in Seattle.  Heartbroken that he's passed away.  I was always hoping to talk with him again.

My nephew Gary will never be forgotten. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Thinking of our Lorraine, Steve and families. Love always Aunty Ann and cousins ❤️ xx

After the Houston flood of 2016, we were shopping for a couch for Sarah…he had no clue of course. Love you, Gary. 

Our outing when friends came over to New Orleans to celebrate D’s birthday. 

Our last visit was celebrating his birthday with a few friends. He was never one for allowing us to take his picture, but on many occasions, I snuck one or two in. This is one of my favorites where he allowed his picture to be taken. 
He was an amazing friend to me and we became brothers from another mother, along with our sister LaTanya. He will be forever in my heart. I will cherish the time we had.

I’ll cherish the childhood memories I have with Gary forever. We were two neighbor kids in the late 70’s and into the 80’s climbing trees, riding bikes, exploring around the nearby creek, building forts, playing games inside on rainy days, playing outside on rainy days, riding horses, walking to the store  to buy a candy bar, playing tennis on the high school tennis courts, exploring our neighborhood together. We watched scary movies on the newly invented VCR, made up our own songs and sang them a lot!  I went to the beach with Gary and his parents. On that trip Gary and I walked all around the beach creating one of our songs.  He made me laugh a lot!  He was always so creative and entertaining and fun to be with!  I will carry these memories and many many more with me forever.   Much love to the Michael family. Steve and Lorraine were like siblings to me back in those days. I adored his parents too.

If I could share a visual of the memories I hold in my heart of Gary I would because a picture we could never get of him & if we did, he was covering his face. We met as coworkers, became friends, and bonded as family. You will be missed my brother from another mother and I will continue to cherish the memories we created together. Rest peacefully Gary Michael.

Well I don’t have a picture of Gary to share because he didn’t let us take his picture lol.  He was a great coworker/friend at Shaw/CBI. We spent many working hours and lunch breaks together for years. He really was a great guy and I cared about him very much. I will never forget him. If you are looking for songs for the playlist, I would suggest Love Shack as Gary used to brag how he could “do a mean Love Shack” (referring to karaoke). Prayers and love for his family and friends.

Still cannot believe it, didn't think my heart could be broken more than it has, coming over to America will never be the same without our Gary. The laughs we had, going out and his wicked sense of humour, will miss him so much but happy that he's back with his Mum (Aunty Nora) and the rest of his loving family. Doesn't seem real writing this, heartbroken cousin Jane xxxx
