George was an active member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. George graduated from Albion College and worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 35 years in Accounting and Credit Management. He donated to many different organizations and had a great love for animals.
George is preceded in death by his wife Laura Clark, who also passed away from heart disease in 1997. He is survived by his daughter Cherie Dermid and husband Forrest of Mansfield, TX; son Kevin Clark of The Woodlands, TX; and dear sister Lillie Mae of Missouri.
The family wants to thank The Woodlands United Methodist Church for their love and support.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Interment is set for 2:30 P.M. in Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, TX 77023.
