I worked with George at the Houston Plant. His Dad, Ned, was one of my closest friends when I worked with him in the Louisville Plant. Like father, like son: both  very fine people who were great team players. I feel honored to have known both of them. Today, MarySandra and I plan to say the Rosary for both of them, their families, and all who love them. May God watch over them all. I hadn't heard of George's passing, but I knew him well. We worked together at the Deer Park Plant. I also worked with his Dad, Ned, at the Louisville Plant (Ned was like a father to me and we were good friends).

Although I did not get to know you, I knew and loved your father dearly as he was my Great Uncle. I have been searching for family members and located this. I was so sorry to learn another family member has passed.

My only regret is that I only got to know Geo (that's what I always called him) for a short period of time. However, in the 3+ years that we shared good times in our motorhome club, we became close friends. That's the type of man that he was. He loved people and he loved to laugh. That big-loud baritone laugh still rings in my ears to this day and will forever. 

He loved to be involved. When I approached him to ask if he would take over as President of our LSAC camping club, he readily accepted (although Janet was in the background shaking her head NO!!!). (Sorry Janet, I couldn't fail to mention that. LOL).

Rest in peace, 'El Presidente. We all will miss you far more than words can ever express. I know for a fact that the(motor)home you now dwell in is a special place and I will be there to join you soon.

We will sure miss traveling with you, GI.  Had some unforgettable times and great laughs on the road.  Momories of you will be with us forever and know that you will be watching us from above.

Sue and I will miss George and his humor. We really enjoyed camping with him.

George, I will miss you and your advise. I know I may have never called you Dad, but I have always loved you as much as any son could. You have been a great roll model and I will always be thankful for everything you have taught me. I want you to know that I will be there for Mom and the rest of the family. Thanks for understanding me and excepting me just the way I am. I love you Dad.

You are the most amazing man...even as you left the world, you took care of me and our family.  Your strength, courage and love will always be the backbone of our family.  

As I viewed the pictures you took, it was clear why our family is so great....your whole world was us. 

Mom, thank you for loving him and caring for him everyday.  You walked his hopes, dreams and disappointments with him and gave him so much happiness. Sam, thank you for letting him love you and be your friend and father.  He knows we are in good hands, he told me that this week.  He is so proud of the husband and father you are.  Thank you for making him laugh so much and for giving him comfort...never leaving his side (or ours). Vicki, Donna and Eddie: he loves you so much.  Thank you for always making him feel special.  Thank you so much to all his friends in the different travel groups, you helped him fulfill his retirement dreams with joy and laughter.  Thank you to his grandchildren for being the light in his eyes.  

He will be so missed and it hurts my heart to let him go. I know he will be close by, but I will sure miss those Dad hugs and the ability to call him for advice.  Mostly, I will miss the amazing way he looked at me, as if he was sooo proud no matter what I did.  I know he passed that to my girls too...  Thank you to my family who flew in to say goodbye and support us through this time of sorrow and celebration of life.  Thank you for for all the support as you are holding us up with strength.

George was a wonderful person who had many good friends.  His death will leave a void in many lives.  Janet, we are so sorry we can't be there at this trying time.  You and your family remain in our prayers.
