She graduated from Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. Jeannie attended business school and worked in the law firm of Luis Couturier, former Mayor of Houston, TX.
Jeannie was confirmed and baptized in the Lutheran Church. She would tell you in a heartbeat that she was “a dyed in the wool Lutheran”.
Jeannie was the sparkle in life. Her title was “The Queen”, her nick name was “Diamond Lil” and “Lil” for short. She was very extravagant and detailed and lavishly draped in Bling at all times. If you were wearing a piece of jewelry she admired, you might as well give it up because it was going home with her (to be returned later).
She was a champion ballroom dancer. She taught several of her doctors how to fox trot or tango before they were allowed to examine her. Jeannies’ dentist could barely examine her teeth until he learned the song of the day, “I will survive”. She sang and danced her way through life.
She would hear a word in every sentence spoken to her and match it to a song. She loved to dance with her 3 grandsons, Nick, Matt and Zach Pa Pa’s ice house will miss her performances.
Proceeded in death by her husbands Kenneth Charles Morgan and Jesse Lopez, grandson Alex McCaleb, great-grandson Logan Slider, and Brother Jack Leland.
Jeannie is survived by two daughters; Carol Jean Morgan, JoAnne Elaine and Son by choice, John Eric Hill her baby boy that could do no wrong!! Grandchildren; Toni Jean Clark, Todd Lane, Lana and Danny Kruse, Joy Renee and Dale Slider, Joseph and Angela Caballero, Julie and Gary Schulte, Jeannie Caballero, Dwayne and Kristina McCaleb, Great-Grandchildren; Ryan and Brianna Kyle, Nick, Emily, Matt, Amber, Ethan, Riley, Trinity, Liberty, Cheyenne and Zach, Morgan, Austin, Lexie, Great-Great Grandchildren; Carter Alexander, Bryce, Bailey, and Ava brother; William Szabo, Sister June Garrison along with a host of other family and friends.
