Jeffery Scott Kober

Jeffery Scott Kober, 52, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family and lord. He was born on December 25, 1971, in Billings, Montana. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend. A larger-than-life figure, his intelligence, wit, and sense of humor left an impression wherever he went.

Jeffery served his nation for a decade as a member of the United States Army. His tenure included diverse training and certifications, numerous promotions, awards, and service accolades.

After his military service, Jeffery pursued a career in the medical field, spanning over twenty years. He most recently served as the Procurement Manager at Nexus Neurorecovery Center in Conroe, Texas, where his work ethic and leadership qualities were highly regarded.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather O'Neal-Kober; his precious children, Peyton, Ethan, and Britton O'Neal-Kober; his loyal canine companion, Dasha; his mother, Helen Kober; his mother in law, Gail O’Neal; his father in law Tinker O’Neal; his sister in law Heidi

O’Neal-Tanner (Mike), Jeana O’Neal-Hrabak (Nathan), and Rebekah O’Neal-McLendon (Bob); his 8 nieces and nephews; and 5 great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Leroy Kober; his paternal grandparents, Reinhold and Eleanor Kober; and his maternal grandparents, Marion and Dorothea Gardner.

Jeffery has left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will live on through the lives of his family and the countless lives he touched. A private memorial service will be held by the family at First Baptist Church of Carnes on March 16, 2024 at 2:00pm. Cremation rites have been accorded for Jeffery.

The arrangements for Jeffery have been graciously provided by Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all those who have extended their love and support during this time.
