He was known for being a Gentle Giant with a passion for his family, faith and friends, he was always the first to offer a hand. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, whether it was a broken-down car or an upside-down smile. He loved to joke and have fun.
John graduated from Oak Ridge High school in 1992. His career spanned more than 20 years and ended as a Mechanic Service Operator for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a Master Mason, an endowed member of Oakwood Lodge #1444 (Sword of Bunder Hill Scottish Rite), and he was the first Old South DeMolay to petition Oakwood Lodge.
