I was a colleague of Jorge's from Paramount Pallet In Toronto.

I met Jorge last year at 48forty's Denver Conference. He and I were on the same  Scavenger Hunt team and had so much fun together!

We reconnected this past March in Fort Worth. It was  lovely to see him, share some chats and laughs. He was so very warm and kind hearted, big smile and talked about how much he cared for his family.

I was truly blessed to know him.

Jorge and the family are in my hearts and prayers.

I will miss my friend.

George will always be my brother, he was a kind caring individual, I will miss him. My Mother also sends her condolences as he treated us like family. I always will remember  cooking in his back yard, going to lunch at the buffet at the Chinese restaurant when he was in town.Heaven gained an excellent Angel.

Jorge was a very close friend, we called each other brother. We had many weekends cooking out at his house and spending weekends tinkering with his sound system. We was always helping people without asking anything in return.  I will miss you my brother!

It was a pleasure and honor to have known Jorge. Jorge and I go back 17 years and I can remember when he started with IFCO Systems. Jorge was a friend and co-worker who I was able to learn from and work through many projects together. There were many times we talked about his Family, Grilling, and Starbucks. Jorge was so close with his family, and I have always admired the way he took care of them. I can remember Jorge telling me he will be cooking out over the weekend and using the smoking for 8 hours, he loved to cookout. Jorge always started his day with Starbucks. Many times, I was there with him on business trips getting coffee with him before we started the day. Jorge will be deeply missed and it is still hard to believe he is not with us. God bless Jorge and his family. 

One of his greatest joys was  cooking and grilling with friends and family.

I was so shocked to hear the news of Jorge's passing. it still does not seem real. He was so full of energy and life. He was so passionate about his work but much more so about his family. I never spoke to him that I didn't get a full report on the family that he cherished so. He will truly be missed.

Dear Jorge,

You will be greatly missed.  You were always there for the people around you whether on a factory floor or on your deck grilling. 
 You could make a silk purse out of a sows ear no matter how bad the situation seemed.  When we went into combat on safety matters, you were dependable and trustworthy and there was never a doubt in my mind about our objective.  In your honor, I will order a double expresso and operate the grill tonight.   I will miss you, my friend.

In the 15 years I knew and worked with Jorge, he always had the time for anything personal or work related to help out. I could rely on him 24/7 to get back with me and give me support. Over 15 years we traveled together, shared meals frequently, and I could always count on him for smart water from Starbucks. The friendly discussions of BBQ'ing and setting up his audio system always make me smile. Our condolences to the family. There will be a void in all of our day to day lives going forward, filled with great memories of the time we were given to spend with Jorge. We will miss you, Jorge. 

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jorge, he was a very great guy who will be sorely missed by many.  Jorge was not only my Safety Manager he was also a great friend. My family will keep y’all in our prayers. 



In the 6 years that I have come to know Jorge he has been a constant staple in my day to day he was always kind and genuine and Jorge Loved his father very much I am truly heart broken over such a loss. My deepest condolences to the family. In the two years that I have known Jorge, he was not only my RSM, but he became my friend. I looked forward to his visits to my site so we could catch up with each other. He always checked on my family and I always checked on his Dad. He was loved and respected and I will miss him dearly. You will all be in my prayers.

We always talked about BBQ and even made a lot of trips to the woodlands so I could take him BBQ wood. The kindness in his heart did not go unnoticed. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
