

Kyle Michael Kenny, 35, of The Woodlands, Texas, was called home on June 28, 2017. He was born in Metairie, Louisiana, on January 26, 1982. Kyle attended The Woodlands High School. He was a friend to all. He was a free spirit and a simple guy with a big heart and great sense of humor. He loved to express himself through his art. He was a self-taught artist, and musician with the ability to effortlessly string together words in an instant and in such a way it brought a smile, laughter and sometimes tears to those listening. For the past 18 years, he so courageously fought a war against addiction and, because of his strong faith in God, he never lost hope that he would win.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Douglas Kenny, and his paternal grandparents, Michael Edward Kenny and Janet Natal Kenny.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Meadows Kenny; sister, Kelly Kenny Baker; brother-in-law, Ryan Thomas Baker; beloved nephews, Ryan, Jacob and Rylan; his maternal grandparents, Joseph Bennett Meadows and Bernadette Ryan Meadows; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77382. Immediately following the Mass, a Rite of Committal will take place at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
