LaNeve was born on October 19, 1924 in Salem, Missouri to parents William and Carrie Massey. She graduated from Reagan High School in the Heights area of Houston, TX.
She enjoyed travel and reading but her real passions were church and family. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile, loving spirit and generous nature.
LaNeve is survived by her son John Michael Ellington, daughter Debbie Ellington, son-in-law Gary Lane and step daughter Kim Stanley Brown; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grand
children plus several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband John Ellington (married 9/22/44-4/19/88) and Arthur Stanley (married 11/24/90-10/01/01)., 3 sisters, 3 brothers and grandson, John.
A Memorial Service is scheduled at 2:00 on March 1, 2020 at Living Word Lutheran Church with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Pastor Doug Dommer will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate LaNeve’s life.
