Lori was a special blessing in my life. She was a breath of fresh air to everyone in her presence. I will never forget Lori's beautiful face, her smiling eyes, her laugh and her heart full of joy. Your family and all of her many friends are in my prayers.  May God's perfect peace bring comfort to you all.

Rick and Lori were childhood friends. I will cherish the memories of them for a lifetime. Most especially a summer I spent with them in Seneca. My best memories of my childhood are centered around that wonderful summer. Jane, your my second Mom and I love you dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Lori through our love of music.  Lori touched us with her loving heart, beautiful smile, kind spirit, intelligence and great sense of humor.  She will be missed very much but will always be remembered.

I hadn't seen Lori the last few years, but I have many memories of the fun we had following Shake. She will definitely be missed.

I will miss Lori, all the fun we had on our road trips, the long talks until the wee hours of the morning, her sense of humor and her beautiful smile.  She was a special friend and I love her very much.  Rick, Patrick & Mrs Bethea you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express the depth of my sorrow; first Rick Bethea, then Nancy, and now Lori. It's almost too much to bear. My heart aches. If only our tears could bring them back! Words fall short of ever explaining how much I will miss Lori. Her capacity for understanding and love, her loyalty, her sense of humor and intelligence were what made her such a great friend, and daughter,wife and mother. My heart goes out to you, Jane, Rick and Patrick(my name-sake, I'm proud to say!) The wonderful memories of my life as Lori's friend just keep flooding in and even though I cannot believe that she's gone, at least I have them.

I went to high school with Lori in Seneca, SC.  I always admired her beautiful hair and features and her funny, crazy, and sometimes dry and sarcastic sense of humor and wit.  May her family find peace and comfort in the days ahead.

It was always such a pleasure to have a conversation with Lori, she was a wonderful person and an intelligent, caring friend to those that knew her. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear that Lori passed away.  I enjoyed being with her at music for many years.  Shake Russell's audience will be minus a loyal fan and friend.  We will all miss her.

To Lori's friends and family: My name is Gene Burgess I was a friend of Lori's back in her early high school days, the picture looks just like I remember her, she was always so much fun and full of life. She had this turquoise Toyota that she would take her friends for rides in, we had so much fun. I only saw her one time since graduation our 20th high school reunion, she was with her best friends Pat, Phyliss, and Nancy. Reminiscing with those girls was the highlight of the reunion. I hope she went peacefully, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I did not know her husband or son but you had one great gal for a mother and a wife.
