1943. Lynda passed away on October 29. 2022 at the age of 79.
Lynda was the first baby born on New Years’ Day in 1943 in Akron, Ohio. She met her beloved
husband of 58 years, Gil, in Akron and they were married on November 1, 1964. They have two
sons Michael and Jay. The family moved from Akron to Kingwood, Texas in the spring of 1981 and in 2009, Gil and Lynda moved to Conroe, Texas.
After a long career in the oil and gas industry Lynda retired and spent her time with Gil traveling, cooking, decorating her home for the holidays, hosting/attending dinner parties with neighbors, and taking drives in Gil’s classic cars. The two of them were active members of their local car club, the Conroe Cruisers. She was often found reading, catching up with her sisters Nancy and Karen on the phone, or spoiling the neighborhood dogs with endless treats. She deeply cared for her family and loved spending time with them.
A beloved grandmother to granddaughters Reese and Riley, she often visited them in Colorado but most enjoyed having them come to visit in Conroe.
Preceded in death by her mother Ruth and father Jim. Survived by her husband Gil and their sons, Michael and Jay, and her two daughter-in-law’s Karen and Kristen. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy and Karen.
