Marc Edward Billiot

Marc Edward Billiot, loving husband, father and son, passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Houston, Texas on October 7, 2015. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 21, 1966 and a resident of The Woodlands, Texas since 2005. Marc attended St. Julien Eymard Catholic Elementary School in New Orleans and graduated from Humble High School in Humble, Texas. He graduated from Baylor University and received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Marc was baptized in the Catholic Church when he was one week old and again baptized when he joined the Baptist Church during his amazing life with Lori and his children. In The Woodlands, he was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

He worked for Continental Airlines during and after college and spent the last twenty years of his life as an executive at Women’s Hospital in Houston. He was loved and cared for by all the people that worked with him and knew him during that time. He and Lori owned and operated Tottenberry’s Day Care Center in Pearland, Texas for many years and many of their friends’ children began their educational lives at Tottenberry’s.

Marc was a member of the John Cooper School Booster Club and also volunteered at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family. Marc’s love of life was on display from the time he was a child. Every friend, colleague, and acquaintance recognized that his kindness, enthusiasm, and spirit were sincere and natural extensions of his personality.

Marc fell in love with Lori Oliva Billiot on the first day that they met and they were married on December 9th, 1995. He is survived by Lori and their two children, daughter Maci Brooke, born on February 14, 1997 and Marc Edward II, born on February 19, 1999. Marc is also survived by his Mother, Linda Joly Gregory and Step-Father, Michael Gregory; his Father Mark Billiot and Step-Mother, Jaime Phillips and a half-brother, Christian Billiot. Marc is also survived by Lori’s Mother, Darlene Johnson and Step-Father Jerry Johnson and Lori’s Father, Vince Oliva and Step-Mother, Darline Oliva.

A Celebration of Marc’s life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home with Visitation at 1:00 p.m., Service at 2:00 p.m. and Burial at 3:00 p.m.

The Family is so thankful for everyone’s continued prayers and support and anyone who knew Marc or wishes to celebrate his life is welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marc Billiot Memorial Fund.
