Mark Jude Rummell

Mark Jude Rummell died peacefully with family at his side on Friday October 15th. Mark was born in Houston, TX on November 29, 1961 to Phillip and Marisa Rummell. He graduated from Sam Houston University where he was a proud member of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity.

Mark always had a passion to work starting from a very early age as a paper boy and then an Amway salesman. In high school he started working at the first fast food restaurant to open in our area, Jack in the Box. He truly seemed to enjoy the work and the people he worked with. He excelled at a young age and became a manager. He took a short break to head to college and finally came to the family business where he worked for Productioneered Parts/Uni-Seal Valve collectively for 35 years.

Mark actually stayed quite busy during his down time. He had very strong friendships that he cherished. These relationships kept him active and very involved. He was loved and considered family to so many. They were all his extended family. While he was living in California he was involved in a sailing club and was Grand Knight of his Knights of Columbus Chapter. He continued to lead and contribute in many other charitable roles while being active in his Church and KC Chapter. Mark also continued to volunteer and have a leadership role to his fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi after graduation. He continued to mentor current members up to the end. His passion and love to work with Knights of Columbus and his fraternity was unsurpassed. It brought him a joy and gratification that cannot be put into words. Mark had a love and loyalty to his family. He was a proud and faithful son, brother, nephew, cousin, godfather and friend. Above all things was his love for baseball and his favorite team, the Astros.

Mark is survived by his mother, Mary 'Marisa' Rummell and his sister Katherine 'Kat' Rummell. He is preceded in death by his father Phillip Rummell.

A memorial service for Mark will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
