Died. Jan. 1st 2013 in The Woodlands Tx.
Preceded in death by
brothers Malcolm and Dale Harrington and sister Hazel Crabtree.
Survived by
His loving wife of 73 yrs, Mildred
Harrington who resides in The Woodlands.
Three children, Linda Canion(husband Jim)
Tom Harrington (wife Linda) Lori Myers( husband Phil)..all of Houston
Eight grandchildren : James m Canion, Michael Canion , Chris
Canion, Dr. Missy Canion Thomas, Jennifer Guerra, Emily Myers,
Leslie Thompson, and Brett Harrington,
Eight Great Grandchildren : Christian Canion,
Cameron Canion, Abigail Thomas,Addison Thomas,
Dylan Guerra, Myers Guerra, Julian
Guerra, and Mia Charlotte Guerra (coming soon).
Two nephews: Dale Harrington( wife
Reba) of Alexandria La.& Rex Harrington( wife Lorrie) of Rockport.
Marshall entered WWII in 1943
and served as a Staff Segeant in
The Phillipines earning several
awards for distinguished service
before being honorably discharged in 1945.
While in the Phillipines he managed a supply
team that distributed food and support
items to a large number of troops.
Upon retuning to Houston after
the War he worked for Shell Chemical Co.
for 35 years before retiring in 1983. While there
he worked in various operational and support
positions at the Deer Park Chemical plant.
He was a loyal member of Park Memorial Baptist Church
In Houston for over 25 years. He served as a deacon for
much of that time.
More recently he was a member at Northwood Baptist Church
In Spring.
He will be missed.....
