Marvin Edward Clubb Jr (Ed), aged 45, passed away unexpectedly on June 3rd, 2023. Ed was born on August 24th 1977 in Houston, Texas to the late Marvin Clubb Sr. and surviving mother, Oleta Knepper. He is survived by his loving wife Louise Griffin Clubb; his children, Jade Marie Clubb, Alexis Shelby Clubb, and Aiden Edward Clubb; His mother Oleta Knepper, stepfather Tony Knepper, and brother Justin Allen Clubb. He was expecting a future grandchild, Layton Frederick Walker.
In high school, Ed was an accomplished cross-country runner. He won many races and awards for his accomplishments. His senior year of high school he met his future wife-to-be, Louise Griffin. They began their relationship on December 7th, 1995. They were high school sweethearts who would go on to have 3 beautiful children who were the most important part of his life. Ed was a devoted father and husband. His family meant the world to him.
Ed's hobbies included working on vehicles. He loved to modify cars to make them go faster. He spent many weekends at the racetrack. He also had a passion for Jeeps and playing in the mud or climbing rocks. His favorite past time was watching the Houston Astros with his family. He never missed a game. He was the biggest fan and loved this time with his family. Ed collected sports memorabilia and had an impressive collection. Most nights he spent going through baseball cards.
Ed was a brilliant handyman. He could fix and repair almost anything. From tinkering with a vehicle to remodeling a house, he had a gift.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday June 17th, 2023 at Forest Park The Woodlands, located at 18000 I-45, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
Ed was a simple, casual man. We ask that the dress code be casual and to wear Astros gear.
