She was married to Edwin M. Pruitt on August 29, 1958.
Mary had a career as a seamstress, doing alterations. She was a member of Montgomery First Baptist Church and had a passion for Christian music, crafts, beach trips and swimming.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin, sister Margaret Tinsley, sister Betty Engram.
Mary is survived by her son Michael Pruitt wife Lynne, son Eddie Pruitt wife Melissa, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, sister Brenda Slaton along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Mary will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, followed by a committal service from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM.
