

Michael was born November 28, 1985 in Houston, Texas to Nikolaos and Elisabeth Kouloumoundras. Michael attended Clear Lake High School where he graduated in 2004. Upon graduating, he began working in the information technology field. In 2007, his passion for the IT world would be ignited and solidified as he accepted a position at Great Western Valve. Michael’s ability to learn quickly on the job put him on a path for fast advancement within the company. By 2010, he had been promoted to Vice President of Operations where his contributions to the company continued.
While Michael’s career was advancing, he was also working to build a beautiful family of his own. He met his wife for the first time at the age of 18 and knew he wanted create a future with her. On September 26, 2008, he married Heather Wallace. Together, they had four incredible children- Kathryn, Emma, Andrew, and Kennedy.
Michael held a deep passion for being a family man, and was the most amazing father to his beautiful children. Michael worked tirelessly to achieve the best life for his family. Throughout it all, Michael would never let his exhaustion keep him from being an active participant in play time with his kids. When you watched Michael in the pool with his children, you would see the biggest grin on his face. Michael loved to joke and say, "They're my trophies! I just look at them and smile."
Michael was the youngest of four boys and grew up with a large extended family. He was an incredibly genuine person and learned early on the importance of family. Michael would do anything for those he knew and loved in this life. His love of family was evident any time he hosted gatherings that brought family and friends together. He truly wished for nothing more than a full, happy household, where love and laughter were in no short supply.
Michael was an artistic, creative, ingenious problem solver with big dreams, and bigger ambitions. He loved music, playing the guitar, family movie nights, and an eclectic collection of pets. Michael had a profound passion for building, creating, and fixing up anything with moving parts – especially electronics. In his free time, he loved to laugh, joke, surprise, and even prank those closest to him. He loved sharing his projects with friends and family, which will now be a way for us to cherish his memory.
Michael is survived by his wife Heather, his four children Kathryn, Emma, Andrew and Kennedy, parents Nikolaos and Elisabeth, his brothers Demetrios, John, Adamantios, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The lasting impression he leaves on his family, friends, co-workers, and so many others is immeasurable. May his memory be eternal.
