Norman Steven Olenik was born January 3, 1943 in New Haven, CT and passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 in The Woodlands, TX. He is survived by his children, Kimberley Griek and husband Michael, Sterling Rogers and wife Vicky, Jason Olenik and wife Ana; grandchildren, Katherine, Christian, Zachary, Sara, Michael; sister, Sandra Olenik.
Norman was a graduate of the University of Connecticut in 1965 with a degree in Accounting. He moved to The Woodlands in 1978 and owned Contex Gun Shop. He was an avid fan of The University of Connecticut basketball team and enjoyed playing the piano, music, cooking, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 6:30pm in the chapel of Forrest Park -The Woodlands 18000 I-45 South The Woodlands, TX 77384.
