Raymond Charles Brumek

Raymond Charles Brumek Sr. was born March 16, 1941, and passed away on November 27, 2012. Ray is preceded in death by his mother and father, Agnes and Charles Brumek, sisters Rusty Chambers and Rosy Brumek, and brother Freddie Brumek. . Ray served in the US ARMY doing a tour in Viet Nam as an MP. He then had long careers with Ridgeways, Central Freight Lines, and store management with John Nguyen. He loved playing poker with family members and going to casinos. Ray is survived by his daughters Sandi Raimer; Stephanie McLemore and husband Curtis; Bridget Pizzi and husband Jim, sons Raymond Brumek Jr., and Eric Brumek and wife Crystal. Grandchildren are Meagan, Aimee, Shane, and Stacey Raimer; Jake and Sarah McLemore; and Donnie, Forrest, Sydney, Kaelob, Brayden, and Tesla Rooney.

Sister Terry Kopech and husband Harry, and brother Peewee Brumek. Also, close friends Joyce Kennedy and John Nguyen and family. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Special thanks to Ronnie Sage, Clint Brumek, and John Nguyen. Pallbearers will be Shane Raimer, Ronnie Sage, Archie Raimer, Curtis McLemore, Jim Pizzi, Donnie Rooney and Forrest Rooney.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Drive, The Woodlands, TX. 77381. Rite of committal will follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
