  So sorry to hear about Rene. He was a fun loving good man. I can't believe he's gone. I regret not getting with you both sooner. Allan and I moved back to Carriage Hills in 2010. Virginia our prayers and love go out to you. We will treasure the memories of the time we spent with Rene and you in The Woodlands and in San Antonio. His memory will forever live in our hearts. We love him and we miss him.

   Virginia, we are deeply saddened by your sudden loss of Rene, when we heard of his passing, it still was hard to comprehend. But, when the Lord calls we know he has made room for the ones he needs. I know Rene is trying to work out a deal with God to let him make the golf greens better and to get the golf channel hooked-up. He was the consummate salesman and always had a special way of treating people with the utmost understanding.
   We know your sorrow is hard to deal with, but knowing Rene, he's looking out for you. His presence will be felt by all who knew him, there'll be a song you hear and it'll be one he would belt out singing, we'll smile when we hear it.
   Virginia, please take care of yourself and know you and your family are in our prayers.

Rene always met us with a hug & a handshake... And of course a big smile & hilarious comment or joke. :) We've never known anyone quite like him, Rene is surely one of a kind, in the best way possible! We are so very very sorry for your loss Gina, and the entire family. We pray for comfort and peace that will cover you all entirely... And that God will surround you all with his angels and wrap you in his loving arms. Rene will certainly be a huge blessing in heaven, just as he was on Earth. Much love & hugs

I still can't believe this has happened and I am saddened to the core. 
When Krista and I first moved to the Houston area and were told by my coworkers that the best place to live would be the Woodlands we never expected to meet two caring and loving people like Virginia and Rene who would become our landlords. I knew that this was a match made in heaven when during our second visit to "evaluate" the home, Rene told us to sit down in that beautiful kitchen and have a beer with him. Then he proceeded to tell us a few dozen jokes, showed off his video and audio equipment and told us that this was the place for us. 
After we agreed to rent the place I thought I had been witness to one of the best salesmanship jobs ever but as time passed by I began to realize that Rene had an instinct for people and he simply liked us and he was going to make sure that we were happy living there. His annual Christmas suppers were a highlight for Krista and I and made us feel like family.  We will miss him and have that empty feeling when we instinctively want to talk to him but that feeling will be replaced with a smile when we think about how he would make us laugh. 
I will miss him dearly but not that crappy beer he used to try to give me at his home! :)  
Virginia, All the best to you and your family as you get through this difficult time. I wish I could have been there with Krista.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Virginia.  Even though I didn't know Rene, I'm sure he was a very special man to be your husband.  My prayers are with you!

The little time I got to spend with Rene left quite the impression. That man knew how to captivate a room with his presence. He seemed to want nothing more than to have those around him filled with laughter. I will truly miss not getting the chance to have known him better. I'm certain his memory will live strongly in those that loved him. Your family will be in my thoughts.

Virginia, we were so sad to hear about Rene's passing.  I will always remember him smiling and Joe will always remember him joking around.  He will truly be missed.  I know he is laughing with his uncle Joe and aunt Estela Mendoza in heaven.  Joe and I will keep you in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Rene he was a very special person. I will always remember the many parties so much great music and always dancing he was such a passionate D.J., they were a great time in my life all the golf tournaments over the years. I have always cherished the friendship of Rene and Virginia. Virginia my prayers and love goes out to you and all the family.

some of our greatest memories are from our time on Marsh Millet with you two as our neighbor's. Rene's huge smile, infectious laugh, and wonderful sense of humor will always be cherished by all of us. I'm sure he has the Lord and the angel's laughing. Rene was a wonderful, caring and loving person. His impact on the lives he touched was amazing. I was very sorry to learn of his passing he will be missed.
