Rick married Lori King in Dallas, TX on May 30, 1985. He received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Midwestern State University. Most of his professional life was spent as a hardworking Business Owner and Entrepreneur.
Ricks smile and personality were contagious; everyone that knew him, loved him.
He was a selfless man and lived for his family. Whatever his kids and grandkids were involved in at the time... that was his hobby. He loved the game of baseball and the legacy continues in his son, Brooks (coach at St Mary’s HS). Chad found a passion in collecting baseball cards at a young age. Watching his grandson Wyatt play baseball now was his favorite place to be. He spent a big chunk of his free time on those baseball fields and the memories from that will be cherished. Wherever his kids and grandkids were... that is where he and Gigi wanted to be as well.
Rick is survived by his wife, Lori Mcminn; daughter Meredith McMinn Pape (Waylen); son Chad McMinn; and son Brooks McMinn (Brooks and Rheagan Rowland will marry on January 2, 2021); mother Janelle Mcminn; brother Greg McMinn; grandchild Harlow Pape, grandchild Wyatt Pape and grandchild Remi McMinn.
He was preceded in death by father Cecil McMinn; sister Kristy McMinn Werner.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in 2021 when COVID restrictions are loosened or lifted.
